Eve Lom

Known for having launched “probably the best cleanser in the world” (Vogue), Eve Lom is originally from Czechoslovakia. She started working in the beauty field in the US & she set up her own brand & business in the UK in the early 80’s.

A beauty priestess who strongly believes that the “purity” of your skin is essentially due to the quality of the products you us to cleanse it… it reminds me of something (Check article “Tips: 1.2.3 Basics”). Indeed the Eve Lom Cleanser is a miracle, an amazing texture. At 1st the smell is intense, but this is mainly due to the mix of Egyptian Chamomile oil & Eucalyptus. It is like applying a rich oily cream; it is recommended to remove the foam with a muslin cloth. Your skin is clean, very gently exfoliated & moisturized. It’s a two in one: you don’t even have to apply a cream after the cleaning! As Eve Lom likes to highlight that: “less is more”!

My selection for very dry or mature skins, ideal for winter:

-Day cream: cocoa butter, avocado & sesame oils

-Night cream: The TLC cream contains beeswax & glycerine to hydrate, Euphrasia & Arnica oil to soothe & reduce puffiness… very rich, very thick, you should just put the equivalent of a hazelnut in the palm of your hand, warm it up by kneading it & gently apply on your face from your chin to your eyes, always from bottom to top (not forgetting the neck)
